Izmet Iskandar Tan Sri Dato' Ramli Kushairi


Izmet is a Member of the Corporate Finance Faculty under the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW); and an Affiliate Member of the Association of International Accountants (AIA), with 15 years of experience in the areas of accounting and corporate finance, holding a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom (UK).

He was an Associate Director (Entrepreneurship) of Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU) under the Prime Minister's Department (from 2011 – 2014). His roles were to help grow Bumiputera companies under the TeraS programme; Sector Lead for the ICT & Multimedia industry; member of the Bumiputera Agenda Committee of the MRT Corp; and prepared the RM100 million Bumiputera start-up grant fund (SUPERB) which started in Feb 2014.

Izmet now advises TeraS and other Bumiputera companies to tap funding from TERAJU, such as the Facilitation Fund, and other programmes e.g. SJJB.

His past notable achievements were during his time as the Director of Corporate Finance (from 2005 - 2008) at a company which was then the Malaysian market leader in reselling Microsoft software, where he successfully advised on corporate and property acquisitions as well as fund raising exercises, including a RM50 million working capital facility of private debt securities.

Izmet’s experience in conventional and Islamic finance was gained through his attachment with RHB Capital Bhd as the Senior Executive of Group Finance; and a member of the Working Group Committee on the setting up of RHB Islamic Bank Bhd. His experience in Islamic finance was further expanded via his involvement on the Islamic Financial Services Board, an international standard setting body for the Islamic financial services industry, hosted by the Central Bank of Malaysia. Prior to joining RHB Capital Berhad, he was in Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, where he audited listed and unlisted companies, mainly in the financial services industry.

Calvin Chun

Director – M&A, Restructuring and Advisory

Calvin Chun is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Certified Practising Accountant under the Australian Society of CPAs.

He has more than seventeen (17) years of experience in the area of accounting and finance.   He was formerly attached with AmInvestment Bank Berhad where he handled listings, restructurings, fund raising and mergers and acquisitions.

He was the General Manager of Corporate Planning for a Main Market listed company. His experience includes undertaking a reverse take-over of approximately RM500 million. Prior to joining AmInvestment Bank Berhad, he was in Ernst & Young where he audited companies from a wide spectrum of industries.

Calvin graduated from Monash University, Australia in 1994 with a degree in Business (Accounting).

He is a Licensed Corporate Finance Advisory Representative under the Capital Market & Services Act, 2007.

Leow Kar Hue

Director - IPO, Financial Advisory and Corporate Services

Kar Hue is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and has more than fourteen (14) years’ experience in the corporate finance field.

She was previously with AmInvestment Bank Berhad where she advised on a number of initial public offerings, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and initial public offerings.

Prior thereto, she was in Messrs. Ernst & Young where she was involved in business assurance and audit and insolvency activities.

Previously a scholar under the Australian AIDAB Scholarship Programme, she is a graduate from Monash University, Clayton, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Computer Science).

She is a Licensed Corporate Finance Advisory Representative under the Capital Market & Services Act, 2007.

Kek Chin Wu

IPO, Financial Advisory and MSC Application

Chin Wu graduated from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK with a professional degree in accounting and he is currently a Fellow Member of ACCA UK and member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants.

He has over 16 years of experience in the fields of auditing, corporate finance and business advisory services.

He commenced his career in the field of auditing in BDO Binder Malaysia in 1993 before moving on to Price Waterhouse in 1995 where he gained experience in auditing various industries.

He then joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad in 1997 where he provided advisory services to a number of public listed companies. He later served as the Corporate Finance Manager of a company listed on the then Main Board of Bursa Securities, from 1998 to 1999 where he was involved in the planning and execution of corporate exercises.

He is currently the Managing Director of a consulting company and an IT company that develops fundamental investment analysis tools and online investor relations websites.

Tina Lim

Takeovers and mergers

Tina is a Chartered Accountant (MIA), CPA (CPA Australia) and Chartered Financial Analyst.

She is a Licensed Representative under the Capital Market & Services Act, 2007. Prior to joining cfSolutions, she was attached with BNP Paribas Capital and RHB Investment Bank corporate finance department.

Tina brings with her a wealth of experience in advising on takeovers, mergers and acquisitions both locally and internationally over the last sixteen years.

Tina obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Melbourne in 1993 where she was also awarded the Best Student of Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration in the 1stYear. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Computing from LaTrobe University in Australia in 1990.
